Because some people are overly sensitive to Deviantart artists catching flak. If you point out any negative quality their art might have, you're an elitist crying over western art on Danbooru.

The first half of his comics are pretty funny. But once he started getting into penis jokes and "Pyonta-as-some-freak-monster", they went rapidly downhill. They are still funny, in a painful, forced fashion, but the first few (pool-wise, the first two lines) are rather funny (the Flan Buster one always cracks me up).
This guy's awesome. He took some characters personalities and jokes in a totally different way than your regular japanese 4komas. Mainly Patche's and Marisa's. If you enjoy jokes about Sakuya's pads, Cirno being the Strongest or sadist Yuuka, you're on the wrong pool.
