Why’s it tagged get even though post ID 1005494 is not a funny number and it doesn’t say “get” anywhere on the image?

Only possibility is that when this was posted, one of its tags reached a milestone number.

If with “anti-aliased” you mean “blurred into oblivion”, yes. :-/
While the point of anti-aliasing an oekaki image may be arguable, I also had a go at it and tried to decrease the perceived pixeliness while not decreasing the sharpness too much: http://i53.tinypic.com/tz042.png

I admit what I did is not a substantial improvement, it was a generic oversampling, and I actually had to sharpen the result quite a bit.
Since my aim is only to smooth the edge lines and you object that much to the side effects, I'll try something more customized.

edit: I got to something that is curious similar to yours. I couldn't get any better smoothness without noticeably blurring or thickening the lines.

Once you’re redrawing the image, you’ve gone too far. :P
Maybe the image is supposed to be enjoyed in its pixely oekaki style after all.

I don't see anything wrong with the original. You guys are ruining it.
