After reading the Yukikaze Novel and watching a few OVAs again, I felt so inspired to draw Rei Fukai. I actually wanted to represent some scenes from the novel that didn't make it to the animated series, but I wanted to try something simple first.

The coloring is sorta celshade style, but I added more effects to it, especially the background. Also, the name Absolute Zero is what I think is a proper "translation" of Rei's kanji characters.
