On another note, being Maverick's mechanic must be a stressful job. She doesn't strike me as the sort that's easy on her Strikers. Plus the F-14A's TF30s were rather problematic engines (the TF30 was supposed to be an interim engine but it ended up being the main engine for the type).
Tagging an error as the black rank insignia with the red chevrons and white eagle are not worn on the woodland BDUs. Instead, a subdued olive-drab patch with black chevrons/eagle is to be worn in its place. Same with the cover.
