I love this artist's love of Meiling

Thank you for posting this Krugger. It certainly looks interesting, if somewhat confusing...

And I agree, always nice to find another artist that likes to portray Meiling in some way other than comedic relief.

i agree with the both of you. seems like meiling is unintentionally aquiring a harem from this artist which i do like as well lol

Went through some of this artist earlier work his Meiling is alot like the Marisa

Epic

It's like Meiling is a mary sue.

She wins all her fights and gets all the love interests. I'm a bit disappointed, but at least it was funny.

Neither, but if I had to pick between the two then grudgingly I'd pick comic butt of jokes China.

I actually have to agree with BGS somewhat. This artist does kind of overshoot a little bit with making Meiling awesome.

I'd prefer he tone it down a little.

While the artist does overdo it somewhat, Meiling in this comic is at least closer to PMSS then when she is being the butt monkey.

Maybe, but I think this Hong Meiling is closer.

Most people Dramatises Yuuka, Flandre, especially Reimu's personality, so how is this any diffrent?

Since Meiling is the butt of so many Touhou fanworks, I don't really care about her maybe being a bit too good here.

I always liked Asatsuki Dou's version of Meiling. Scarlet Devil is similiar to yokochou's Beauty of Scarlet. http://en.touhouwiki.net/wiki/Asatsuki_Dou

Excellent examples. Meiling as effortlessly badassed instead of absurdly so.

This reminded me of that animation of Guy running into Akatsuki and murdering everyone. But with better spelling.
