Actually, the historical swastika of Indian origin was bent to the right, but the mirrored form was/is also used. The difference between the Nazi swastika and the Hindu one is a 45 degree rotation. Therefore, this representation is safe, as the Nazi swastika would bend the other way. Although I'd understand momentary outrage and offense, as it took me a moment too to remember the difference (and a wikipedia lookup to confirm).
