btw, in the last panel what's Meiling shouting(or casting)? I think it's "Phoenix Down"(or something related) and "raise", but what's the other, "kearuga"?

I think this is referring to a scene in Final Fantasy 5. But I can't remember that character's exact name.

But what about Curaga and Raise? Those are pretty Mid/High level spells. She could be a technical White Mage in the making.

Yet Red Mages can't use High level White (or Black) Magic. So in turn. They cannot use Curaga....or they have have changed that rule since the last time I've truly seen a Red Mage.
