Sanae's the type to google up answers to an online quiz to feel better, isn't she?

I suppose since the Masamune statute here is that of the historical Masamune, I can use the plain date_masamune tag?

The final episode of the long-running NHK historical drama Masamune: The One-Eyed Dragon was some tall tale that had me bawling my eyes out.

Reader-added tags include "That's cheating, Sanae-san", "Turn a blind eye to your wife's playfulness, Kogasa-san" and "You're not throwing away common knowledge, Sanae-san".

The survey talks about other, similar shows:

Y'know, there are 51 long-running dramas on NHK:
    • Masamune: The One-Eyed Dragon
    • Toshiie and Matsu
    • Fūrinkazan
    • Princess Atsu
    • Kiyomori of the Taira

Well, that took too long. For a change, my browser compensated when I cut-and-pasted the various URLs, not converting the parentheses to URL code. Naturally, dlink's linking function can't parse a closing parenthesis in a URL.

    Wooow...!!
    History Time
Amazing, Sanae! You know so much!!
    Statue of Date Masamune.
    Huh? There are two eyes?
    Wasn't Masamune one-eyed?
It seems that this was due to Masamune's will.
    Pamphlet
He's even called "The One-Eyed Dragon".
    Oh, everyone knows that!♥
    Hehe...
It seems he said, "Though I lost my eye because of a disease, it's very unfilial of me to lose my eyes that my parents gave me." For that reason, he said, "Put my eyes back in on my posthumous portraits and statues."The East Asian idea of filial piety established that a person's physical body is a gift of their parents. So, alienating their own bodies would be seen as disrespectful towards their parents.
