One superstition in our country though, never ever open or even place your umbrella in an upward position if you're in a roofed place or else a lizard would drop to your head (or it will rain) but I always do that and it never rains only when there are typhoons -laugh- Anyways, you're a real rain-maker Kogasa-san.

Well, the US has had 11 straight years of drought conditions, and beef/dairy prices are about to skyrocket because ranchers are killing their stock off now rather than let them all starve later in the season, so... I'd work on that part first. (Plus it's the hottest year on record AGAIN, with almost all the hottest 10 years on record being in the past 10 years, but don't worry, Global Warming is just a myth...)
There's not much money to be made by going to Sahara or other bone-dry places, since only poor people live there. No, try to imagine the possibilites of taking money to stay away from certain locations, such as rock concerts and football games! The possibilities are endless!
@NWSiaCB: I do wonder why the economic archons aren't concerned about climate shock. They have to live in the heat too, after all. Some things are more valuable than power and wealth (e.g. what you'd USE power and/or wealth to attain)...
And the rain woman strikes again. I knew this was going to happen soon enough, since it's been dark and cloudy since they arrived in Sendai. Poor Kogasa-san, she needs to find the off switch to that quirky ability of hers.

Nope. We're still compeating with the great 30 year cycle. This happens every 30 years, 5 year build up, 5 years fall down. And I recently went through Oklahoma, hotest part of the US. Were they concerned? Nope, the just said 'it's just one of those things that happens every now and then, just gotta give the earth some time to rest, that's all.' Remember reading of the dustbowl? That was one of them. The '80s had another of them (the previous record holders). Seriously, how do you think people acted about all this before there was computers to keep track of all of this? Presently, it's not hot enough in Africa to cause Black People, and that's too cold. This just happens, don't worry about it too much.
