I was bored when I found this, so I tagged the ppsh-41, stg44, and the half track.

It might be in the Russian front, I guess. And if I'm not mistaken, the girls are a Panzergrenadier unit that either garrisoned the town or was about to capture it.

I don't think this should be tagged Berlin unless the Russians managed to get there in 1943 without telling us about it.

It's an M38 gas mask, though I can't find any informational pages; only auctions.

Lesser known fact: during the final push into Berlin a number of defending units consisted of teenage girls (teenage boys too) from the Hitler Youth. As a probably aftermath surviving girls were probably raped along with thousands of others afterwards.

So per the artist; It's pure fantasy and definitely not Berlin. Besides, the uniforms are completely wrong for last ditch Hitler Youth, Volksturm, or Nachrichtenhelferin. The uniforms are standard Heer with a few common fantasy elements added in. Like how they all appear to have NCO tresse and double cuff titles. But it's a fictional 1943 Ostfront "Maidens Division" so who cares. It's a good picture and I hope to see more like it.

Not sure why it's 1943, considering one of the soldiers has an STG-44 (Keyword, 44!!)But yeah. A division of ill equipped, ill supported, and wounded german soldiers stands no chance against those three T-34/76s. Plus any Infantry.

A morbid thought. I shudder if anyone survived the Red Army will have their way with them.
