    It seems more like Marisa's role to pull this sort of thing, definitely. Maybe that's why Marisa got chibified into irrelevance, since her role was usurped by an out-of-character Patchy...

    At the very least, Patchouli would try the "Juggernaut" strategy: That is, have all the clerics/wizards dump every single damage-reduction and status-immunity spell that can possibly stack on one meatshield, and just have that juggernaut trip every trap while temporarily immune to the damage.
