I was thinking it was the situation after the previous image, meaning that Hijiri fell off the ship and hit Hatate.

That seems likely from the bits of wood on/in her head, I though it was a fight from the angry aura and Hayate's broken cellphone

Hijiri is truly a frightening woman. Despite her being friendly to everyone, she's just as unnerving as Yuuka on a good day.
