  • 今年の夏コミは2年前を思い出させるほどの暑さでした。
    倒れる人も続出だったそうで・・・。
    会場の中が青く霞んで、なんかもうすごかったです。

This year's Summer Comiket was hot enough to remind me of the one from two years ago. I heard there were people collapsing one after another.....
This blue haze formed inside the venue; it was pretty amazing.

Wearing that China dress was a grave mistake. Now Kogasa is going to die from blood loss...

Crap, I nearly spilled my soy milk from that 3rd panel. (lol)

That's one helluva weather in there, Kogasa-san. No wonder you all have problems with heatstroke despite being indoors. Keep hydrated, Kogasa-san! (Especially to counter that blood loss.)

Reader-added tags include "Girl Is Lusting...", "The destructive power of panel 3", and "It's mating season, Kogasa-san".

The survey needs a drink to beat the heat:

What do you want to drink when it's hot?
    • Cold water
    • Cold juice
    • Cold beer
    • Hot ramen broth
    • Hot curry

I live in goddamn South Texas and it doesn't even get that hot inside our conventions. Do the building planners not believe in HVAC or something?

ugh, comiket. Definitely not for the faint of heart... line up at 6:00am, wait 4 hours just to get in 30 minutes after it opens(in the blazing hot/cold weather)

I think they do but it really doesnt help when 1.there are so many people and your crammed like sardines 2. the shutter doors are open and are huge; none of the cold air will stay inside.

Again, who could blame him? (Dat close up)That and I'd be more concerned about the husband that doesn't get turned on by a case of incidental sexy like this involving his wife.

Look on the bright side, Sanae-san, Kogasa-san's eyes aren't being drawn towards anyone else. That's a good thing, right? It's the ultimate "he's mine" tool. She should call it Faithful Sign "Eyes on Me."

For the poll, beer! It's liquid bread, it's good for you!

Seems like history's repeating! I'm awaiting the part where they're in a hotel room and Sanaewife says something suggestive and then they do some last-minute comic work or whatever it is that they do as artists.

    Humidex calculator says:

The humidex factor is 94 C
The humidex factor is 201 F
    Heat stroke probable.

(This is the sort of thing where humidex calculations break down. Also this assumes a 96% relative humidity... but given the formation of visible haze it might not be too far off.)

And for this sort of extreme levels, beer is probably dangerous. So it's probably better to stick with cold Pocari Sweat.

I suspect the problem here is that the AC can't get anywhere near the level of airflow needed for the task. You'd probably need gale force fans... and then you'd still need to be able to reduce the humidity in all that air you'd be pushing.

Have to account for the hotness of booth babes and cosplayers, as well as all the attendees who get hot and bothered.

Kogasa, you better get something to block the blood from your nose. You can't savor your reward if your unconscious, right?

That's gotta be an exaggeration. Use this link and type those numbers in.

I'm getting larger numbers than in the Humidex calculations (309 F / 154 C) but, again, this is an extreme case that is close to boundary conditions, so it is quite likely that the calculations are going to go a little haywire.
