    I would love to play with the "fallen" fleet.
    Instead of building new ships you get them from sorties only, but with a higher chance than usual.

    Wait... that's kinda morbid...

    I got it, 2nd faction is "Fallen Angels" basically you can't build ships, but instead save
    "fallen" ships in sorties.
    It's a special department of the navy that utilizes those saved ships.

    One can always dream ;)
