It's not like she's human, anyway. With all the cybernetics on a kanmusu, I doubt they forgot about an oxygen recycler. Or the magic animating the ships into girls probably takes care of all their needs (apart from fuel, ammo, steel, bauxite, and the occasional bucket of ... whatever it is).
What I'm getting at is simply "She's gonna be all right, so enjoy the present!"
