Did you specifically try to imagine that it could be confused with long blonde hair?
Because, from the thumbnail, her short, brown strands are instantly noticeable.
Looking at the thumbnail again now, I can only agree, but I do vaguely remember being thrown off when I clicked through and saw no long, blond hair. I probably glanced over the thumbnail so fast that I didn't notice the brown hair before clicking. I think at the time I tended to look over a page of thumbnails and rapidly open several that looked interesting in new tabs after the briefest glance.
