Clearly the artist recently saw Battleship. Considering it's one of my favorite 'shut brain down' movies I give him props for that.

This ship exists in real life as a kind old lady, a pensioner living off the coast of San Pedro as a retiree, a.k.a. a museum. Not too far from my house, either.
