ウチの艦これマンガ①FOR THE BARREL

冬に刊行予定だったはずの艦これネタ、いつまでもまとまらない状態が続いちゃって「このままじゃいかーん＞＜；」とりあえず見られるようになった部分だけでも、本人にハッパをかける意味も込めてアップしてみました。以前準備号と称したやつに色塗ったりしたので、重なってるのもありますが…。プレイまんがと、押しキャラマンガの混ぜごはんぽい感じで進む…といいにゃー…；；

Isonami arrived in Kure Harbor on April 22, 1942 from Singapore; Isonami was docked for maintenance. Meanwhile Shirunai arrived in Kure Harbor on April 23, 1942 after escorting the carriers for their raids within the Indian Ocean; Shiranui was docked for repairs. Shiranui departed from Kure on May 21, 1942 together with the DesDiv 18 and proceed to Saipan to rendezvous with the rest of the DesRon 2 which was assigned to escort the Midway Occupation Force commanded by Rear Admiral Tanaka while Isonami departed from Kure to Hashirajima and on May 29, 1942, she escorted the 1st Fleet Main Body for the Operation MI.

Though during their first meeting, none of the were seriously damaged. But yet again, Isonami suffered a collision with Uranami on June 9, 1942 which cut her speed to 11 knots. Arrived in Yokosuka on July 23, 1942 and was docked for repairs while Shiranui was torpedoed by USS Growler SS-215 outside Kiska Harbor on July 5, 1942 which severely damaged her hull. On August 15, 1942, Shiranui departed from Kiska and on September 3, 1942 she arrived on Maizuru via Shimushu; she was docked for repairs afterwards. Isonami repair was completed on July 23, 1942 but was never deployed to the front lines until October 4, 1942 while Shiranui was placed under 'Special Reserve Ship' status, her repairs was completed on November 15, 1943 and resumed active duty on January 7, 1944.

So maybe the artist was trying to portray that there was a possibility that Isonami and Shiranui had met more than one time but never had greeted each other.
