I'm amazed it was in the middle of the road like that. Foxes (here in the USA) are extremely secretive and avoid open areas.

Yea... My father love to feed foxes. He buys even minced turkey meat.

And adds a lot of rat poison.

In Poland, there is terrific fox overpopulation. Because vaccines for rabies were dropped in forests. Well, you shouldn't get rabies from fox now, here. But you won't see hares, hedgedogs, partridges... Lots of wildlife got slaughtered by those ginger bastards. Plague, terrific plague. Technically, you could even earn money from killing foxes. It's just way too much of hassle to actually do that. You would need to get stinky ginger corpse to local forest ranger. And he wouldn't be happy about that.

Young fox might be kinda, well, naive. Standing just 2 meters from you, while trying to choke chicken. And curiously looking at you, when you try to grab some pitchforks.
