I managed to find the TWO non hentai Kantai Collection Doujins that minarai did and bought them via a third party website. The problem is I don't know a damn thing about translating Japanese.

Based on the preview pages I was able to look at on the Japanese sites, they're basically safe-for-work sequels (with some obvious fan service) that pick up the story ended- the Admiral returning with his "Abyssal Harem"- and seem to follow the daily lives and hijinks of the newly-integrated (and friendly!) community of Kantai and Shinkasai Girls. Other Abyssal Fleet Girls show up in the doujin, including Hoppo-chan! So I can only assume that the Admiral achieved lasting peace via the power of "sexual diplomacy" XD!

When they arrive, I'll scan the pages. But someone else is going to have to translate them, so we can actually read them. Should I just post them as images and leave them open for translating? Or should I send the files to someone in particular, so they can translate them?

I'm new to this site, so sorry if these seem like dumb questions.

I don't know much about scanlation but it depend the quality of the scan first before you can upload them. And there is the cleaning thingy to do too.

What firechikara said,and if the scan & cleaning (if they need to) turned out good enough,just do both.

The doujins arrived a while back and I'm scanning pages from this one right now.

I'm going to create a pool for the entire doujin, and I'll probably include this upload as the first page. Despite being as thick as a standard American comic book, these two doujins were published in paper-back (with spines!). Flattening the pages in the scanner is slowing me down, because I don't want to damage them in the process.

What I need to know is what to title the pool. The exporter didn't translate the names, and I know nothing about formal Japanese, so I can't even break down the symbols.
