More speculation fuel into the origins of Midway and AC Hime!

Well the A7M Reppuu didn't see service in the war. Some were built before the end, but never saw combat.

That could mean a lot of things. No A7M reached Midway. The A7M didn't really start development until after the Battle of Midway, so none of the carriers there (save maybe Enterprise) would have any knowledge of it at all. But that could be any of the four Japanese carriers or two of the American carriers (Yorktown was lost at the end of Midway, while Hornet was lost later in the year). Assuming its not just the spirit of Midway's airbase itself.
