    Pietà
    Oh, I see.
He couldn't bear having his work mis-attributed to someone else so he carved "Michelangelo Buonarroti, Florentine, made this" into the sculpture.
Do you know who carved this?
    However.
It's almost out of this world...
When Michelangelo was 24, he finished this sculpture of the holy mother and son. It has been praised as "a divine piece" and "a miraculous piece of artwork".
    That night
wasn't it Cristoforo Solari from Milan?
    How beautiful...
    If I recall...
    *surprised*
Later he became embarrassed of this act and would never again sign his work, making Pietà the only piece of work he signed.
