I had a great dane like Nagato here. Whenever he saw the other dogs getting hugged, he's jump in clumsily and look dumbfounded when he was pushed away. He never grasped that he was much, much bigger.

Or deep in his heart, he wanted to be little puppy.

I had a similar situation not as big as a great dane, I had to hug my big guy separately and most times I would still end up on my back
