And even when presented with all these lovely choices, we know Ash will still pick Pickachu. Something is seriously wrong with that boy. :P
He hasn't gone through puberty yet. One of these eons the hormones will FINALLY start flowing and he'll call up Professor Oak with some very awkward questions, but until then, he just isn't interested yet.
