Not known yet. But judging from their designs, they might represent different types of kingdoms that princesses can rule since the pink Cure has a flower motif, the yellow a star (outer space?), and the blue a seashell one.

i wonder if they finally make evil cures from the begin in this new story it would be something new. hope also for epic fights like in the former stories and tragic moments like in heartcatch.
The names can be found here and here but they're a little difficult to discern. For now I'll make character placeholders and then update accordingly.
It looks like they have a separate skirt and dress in Cure form, which reminds me of what the heroines in Wedding Peach have to do to power up. And I was right about them representing different types of kingdoms! ;D
cure flora, mermaid and twinkle? i see! but i guess it would be ending into 4 or 5 cures like in the other series before the days of a duo like nagisa and honoka are over.
