I personally think "yeah yeah" would be more... Appropriate? Though the German is a nice touch, we should probably use it for when the characters actually speak it.

You ever have a conversation with a German? They do use "ja" to reinforce a point.
Das ist gut, ja?
Ja! das ist gut!

In germany we have a saying: "Ja, Ja, heißt leck mich am Arsch." You could translate it as: "Yes, yes, means you can kiss/lick my ass."

It is usually because you say "Ja, Ja" when you don't care about what else the other person has to say and to end the conversation.
