Been thinking about this admiral through out the series: He likes watching Akebono, he likes treating Akebono, etc.

Well, he does things like secretly take pictures of her when she's smiling (which she finds embarrassing for other people to see) and then post them in his office. He definitely likes embarrassing Akebono.

It sounded as though Kuso Teitoku is acting as Akebono's father, with Akebono being a rebellious teenager.

Akebono and her expressions along with Takao lecturing her were the nicest Christmas presents that Shino could've given us.
