    I am pretty sure Fubuki is wearing that uniform from Idolmaster Xenoglossia not to mention it looks like the cockpit is from Gundam Build Fighters as well.

    Side note, Turn-X is a stupid name, because if you turn an X upside-down, you get... X. Not that Turn(ed)-A isn't kitschy itself, but still.

    Confirmed. Also the next episode 'blurb' mentions "Kantai Collection: Puchiglossia".

    Well, Turn-A does have a symbolic meaning in mathematics. Dunno about Turn-X though.

    In predicate logic, ∀ is universal quantification; you can whack a X on to make it ∀x, to make a universal quantifier, and is often expressed in the statements like ∀x:(x) {(x) is true for all x} . So, there's a logical connection! Ha. I assume it's much the same thing in maths?

    Thanks for elaborating that point, I only faintly remembered what ∀ meant from browsing TV Tropes.

    A Xenoglossia equivalent to Kancolle might have probably been better than the actual show itself.

    Yes. For example, let f(x):= 𝑥². Then f(𝑥) ≥ 0 ∀𝑥 ϵ ℝ

    (Let the function f(𝑥) be defined as f(𝑥)= 𝑥². Then f(𝑥) is greater than or equal to zero for all real values of x.)

    Well, Turn-A does have a symbolic meaning in mathematics. Dunno about Turn-X though.

    Turn(ed)-X doesn't exist because, as I mentioned, you get back "X" after rotating it 180 degrees (or even 90 degrees). (For chemistry buffs, it's similar to the D4h point-group) Rotating it 45 degrees just gives you "+".

    The counterpart to turn(ed)-A is turn(ed)-E, "∃". In contrast to ∀, the universal quantifier ("for all"), ∃ is the existential quantifier ("there exists"/"for some (i.e. at least one)")

    Example: Let f(𝑥):= 𝑥². Then f(𝑥) = 4 ∃𝑥 ϵ ℝ

    (Let the function f(𝑥) be defined as f(𝑥)= 𝑥². Then f(𝑥) is equal to four for at least one real value of 𝑥.)

    This is true, because f(x)=4 for x = 2 or x = -2. Now, if I were to instead write:

    Let f(𝑥):= 𝑥². Then f(x) = 4 ∀𝑥 ϵ ℝ

    (Let the function f(x) be defined as f(𝑥)= 𝑥². Then f(𝑥) is equal to four for all real values of 𝑥.)

    ...that would be false because clearly, if 𝑥 ≠ 2 and 𝑥 ≠ -2, (like say, 𝑥 = 10) then f(𝑥) is not equal to four.

    We use these symbols in mathematical (and logical) proofs because it makes things much easier to write. (Like say, proving the square root of 2 is irrational) Otherwise, you'll have to use a lot of words to be precise.

    Hey! I tried to keep it at middle school math! (symbol notation notwithstanding.) I haven't even brought calculus into it yet! [/joke]

    Maybe... just maybe... you could say Turn-X is ¬X?

    Can somebody please translate the rest of the text if they're able to? Not knowing what it's saying is beginning to bug me.

    Feel free to make it sound more Gundam-ish. Been a long time since I had last seen one so I forgot how they usually translate the exaggerated lines.

    Doubt it, the anime was bang on...why would you want a knockoff anime that has nothing to do with the subject matter?

    I'd love to see them make that vampire and yakuza IdolMaster movies from the fake promotion video into reality.

    This is actually pointed out by one of the main characters in the show itself. She also thought it was ridiculous.

    On the next KANTAI COLLECTION PUCHIGLOSSIA Episode 2 It's all right! We can resurrect you with a Repair Material!
    Now, FIGHT!
    As Fubuki grows through battle, a strong opponent appears before her — Midway Princess. How will Fubuki challenge an opponent who regenerates every time she's defeated!?
    H-...how could she know...? It'll be bad if the cockpit underneath the chest is damaged now! However! I shall not be defeated!
    The Story So Far: Fubuki accidentally stumbles across the PETIT in an ancient historic ruin. Guided by the PETIT, she throws herself into battle.
    Here I come, Midway Princess! I don't really get it, but I've already defeated the one-eyed Wo-class! So I bet your regenerative function should no longer work!
