    I wondered why he'd been tweeting "I bought a new hand truck" on Twitter, and then tweet "My hand truck broke" in the next instant. It seems he's living a rather exciting cart life.

    It seems he's experienced several delivery problems in which his boxes weren't delivered to the venue, so he says that when he goes, he doesn't want to use a delivery company.

    At Koromu last year, even one of my boxes didn't arrive at my table space, as the sorting label that should have been attached to it had peeled off, so it's not like I don't know how he feels.

    My box was at the company's headquarters. It took over 30 minutes to search for it.

    Well, cheap ones tend to be made of material than can suffer from torsion. Better made one will break before they twist.

    Had that happen to one of our old aluminum alloy hand truck. They really don't take well to being pushed up and down stairs, even small ones, especially if you're overloading them and it flips over while someone's trying to keep it upright. Steel ones are a bit heavy for my parents. Sure, we know where to get the stair-climber ones, but my parents don't want to contend with them anymore.

    For the poll, I'd rather go with the helicopter. Preferably the Skycrane.

    Aluminium and low quality steel hand trucks will bend and break in joints if loaded with slightly higher than average man's weight carry capacity.
    Plastic wheels are shit with too if they have any holes except for bearing. They will break if drag hand truck on rough surfaces and if roll onto pavement edge and stairs instead of lifting.

    My grandfather hated those hand trucks so much and made few own. One of them made decades ago, looking like hand truck for Mad Max and was used to deliver sacks of potato and sugar, sometimes off-road.
