Break the sentence down into it's parts and it becomes easier to translate -

[任務以外] [つき合わ[せる]] [のも] [悪い] [から] [な]

[Outside of missions] [Confront/Face-to-face[Causative]] (Nominaliser) [Bad] [Reason] (Inflection).

The reason is applying to the previous statement by Poiko, for not wanting to come along. Hence, it's the Admiral rationalising why she'd shoot him down like that - i.e. She's totally mission-focused.

I don't know but I was certainly troubled by "任務以外" and "つき合わせる"

For 任務以外, just break it apart - it's two words 任務 and 以外 - [Mission/Duties]+[With the exception of] = [Outside of/With the exception of missions]
