Here's one of my entries for theMagus Party art collaboration, Hata no Kokoro donning the mask of Light/Kanohi Avohkii from Bionicle. While I had a few more ideas in store for what her outfit would look like, I didn't have the time or the proper references to work with; as it is, I only had to replace her shoes with a pair of Mata foot pieces, her skirt with four Bohrok hood pieces, and her ribbon with a technic axl ball [referencing the same pieces that some of the Toa Mata sets had on their chests back in 2001].

Also... I was somewhat frustrated with how I failed to come up with a dumb pun that would have been the entire basis for this outfit's design if had I thought of it earlier. *clears throat* Anyone who has followed Lego's Bionicle series will know that the setting for its sets released in 2001-2003 had six regions called "Wahi" where villages called "Koros" were located. See where I'm going with this? The regions and villages are named by fitting certain prefixes: Ta-Wahi/Ta-Koro (fire region/village), Ga-Wahi/Ga-Koro (water region/village), and so on.

The prefix used for almost anything related to the ice element is "Ko."

Welp.

There is one such village called Ko-Koro. Village of ice and slush and popsicle sticks.

And I failed to f-cking recall the name until I was at this step of the drawing process.

Despite that, I still loved how Kokoro turned out. The mask of Light just seemed to be the closest Bionicle has to a mask of hope, and was already rather invested in the idea. I guess I can still put the other idea on paper if I get the time to, so for now, I suppose I can settle with the Avohkii for our little menreiki. :) (Smile)
