Madoka's a ballerina, everyone is still a magical girl, Hitomi possibly knows about the existence of magic, Sayaka is physically imprisoned by Homura, Mami has or will gain godlike powers of her own, Nagisa and Kyouko have been discovering Kyubey's dead bodies, Kyubey himself is shown pondering emotions and existentialism, Homura is ready to start destroying now that people are waking up from her control, and the Earth itself has been skewered.
If even half of this makes it to the final cut, I'll enter paroxysms of joy.
