    Hang in There, Kogasa-san 1942

And this is why I've been making fanzine display shelves and such. I've also got stuff I made because I wanted it to begin with!

The processor still isn't in normal condition, by the way. The Y-axis stepping motor still judders and stops a lot, so I think I'll check the contact of its connector.

I got all these choices together but never got around to making a survey...

What have you bought but never used/built?
    • Video game
    • Plastic model kit
    • Reference book
    • Organizational item
    • Megalixir

Reader-added tags include "Farewell, Kogasa-san", "Survey of wasteful mentality", and "About ¥150,000".

I've had model kits sit there...

And if he got that setup for $1384 USD (as of today's exchange rates), that wasn't expensive at all. And it looks like he typically goes two hours per session, if the one Shidax visit is ¥1250, based on a ¥625/hour rate.

Saving those Megalixir, thinking that the effect is really amazing and should be saved for tough battles, just to let it rot in the inventory.

That's why such are part of the "too good to use" club.

I included a note for it in Strip #1935, which was only a week ago. Did you miss that one?

I remembered reading that but couldn't recall that there was an external link for Shidax there. Thanks for telling!

It's a company which runs a bunch of service industry chains, including karaoke.

Based a translation of this Pixiv comments on post #1204486, it looks like his karaoke sessions (now) tend to go for 2-3 hours, which means he's spending between ¥1250-¥1875 per session, twice a week.

So 120 SHIDAX in this case represent his karaoke funds for about 60 weeks/14 months.

    It's donnne!
A figurine stand I built after cutting some plastic sheets!!
Wow, you can really make these nicely.
What else are you going to build?
    I hadn't thought about it.
    Excuse me?
You use up 120 Shidax's worth, and that's all you've made?
That's quite the expensive figurine stand, isn't it?
    I'm just starting!!
    I'll think of something afterward!!
