You can see in the upper left panel (technically the 2nd one), that Muppo grabbed both the lid and the seat lifting them both in her still asleep state and was immediately woken up when the incident occurred.

Well. Luckily Muppo's toilet isn't one of those with water filled all the way to the top.

Yes. Touching ice cold porcelain is quite unpleasant.

Reminds me of that South park episode where some kid's mother died on the toilet in the exact same way because he forgot to put the seat down.
