Yeah, that's bloody annoying

I never had to face the weather for laundry since I have pretty much used drying machines all my life. Benefits of living in first world country. :P

Japan is a first world country, and basically no one has a dryer. But everyone has at least a tiny balcony to line dry. (In the rainy season though, I sometimes have to take clothes to the laundromat to dry them)

I dry my laundry inside my room, it works good enough if not in a hurry.

Also:
Piling up plastic bottles in side gap between table and wall 'till pile gets higher than table.
Fooling around equally at 4 p.m. or 4 a.m.
