What I read on this artist's twitter page, this is supposed to be an attempt at splicing DNA of Abyssals with Shipgirls to create a mass produced hybrid of sorts.

From left to right, the Abyssal girls look like Ikazuchi, Inazuma, Elephant, and Hibiki.
