People's resistance to motion sickness varies. (I think) I used to handle this much better, but I can still do quite a lot of reading or playing with my phone before I start feeling mildly sick.

I'm a little worried about Tenryuu-chan's driving license. I'm learning currently and my general impression is that having depth perception is just a tiny bit important.

Tenryu, get the bucket. Haruna is NOT all right with impending car sickness.

I'm one of those people who has never had any problems with motion sickness. I've been reading books and playing games in cars ever since I was a kid, and I never actually knew motion sickness was a thing for a long time, I just assumed everyone else could also do what I could.

At least Haruna's not driving while playing PGo, people have gotten in accidents trying to play while driving...

From experience, having monocular vision doesn't do much harm to your driving. You just need to be very good at gauging distance using visual cues.

[Clarification: I have monocular vision (normal perception in my left, near-sighted on my right, so basically no depth perception at all) and I passed my driving license exam with flying colors. Driving isn't all that difficult, though I believe I tend to be a bit hyper-focused behind the wheels.]

Tenryuu's blind spot is towards the left-hand side, though, so that might be a bit of an inconvenience for her during rush hour maneuvering...

Always ready plastic bags in a car

One of my exes came back from a semester in Tokyo (where they never drive) and immediately got carsick once I started driving her around. Never happened to her before, even though my driving is Yukari-tier.

So it's probably one of those things you can build up or lose, like a muscle or a memory.
