The joke in the episode was that 'ama' means both 'female shell diver' and 'nun'. It was fanservice pure and simple, but that's how it applies.

Surpisingly, Amaenaideyo! is a good watch for being a fanservice show. The characters aren't shallow at all, and the lead is not a PUSSY. Hell, it's that good that I actually bothered to learn how to type Amaenaideyo! in one sitting w/o copipe'ing.

I watched the first episode, and was actually surprised at the relationship between the main character and main female lead, as shown in their conversation during the last few minutes of the episode. It wasn't on a stupid stereotypical shallow level, it was kinda warm. But I stopped watching anyway because I am easily swayed by everyone's opinion and am scared of my tastes being criticised. But hell, I'm playing eroge with good plots and ero, why miss out on a good plot/characterization (even if it's only between what, two characters out of the whole cast maybe) even if there's ero all over the place.

...And it does have a sequel, no?
