No it's not, it'll be like their HMM zoids kit: got the license/copyright from takara tomy, made the kit of it, but it still labeled with takara tomy logo not koto. Making kit from other company's IP doesn't make them own the copyright.

Those HMM Zoids did have Kotobukiya labels on them until about 3-4 years ago when Tomy had the model kits rebranded, by the way.

Then again, having both Masaki Apsy and Fumikane Shimada working with Kotobukiya on reviving the Busou Shinki line is good news. They've already shown us that the series as plastic kits is viable with the continuous release of Frame Arms Girl and the upcoming Megami Device (which could be said to be Busou Shinki by another name).

I'm already seeing a lot of hype for the final release of Arnval. Strarf shouldn't be too far behind now that they've already shown us the new model prototype.

After looking again, you're right. Finally they replace takara logo on HMM kits with koto logo. Last time i see takara logo on HMM is on my first and only HMM kit, liger zero.

That aside, let's say we're agree koto's attempt with frame arms girls and megami device make us happy. Even someone from mecha musume comunity said megami device itself are spiritual successor of busou shinki, with body structure and hard point placement.

I remember buying my first few girls, and getting some sort of proxy Japanese account so I could play the game. Good times.
