I'm not the one who flagged this, but I totally agree with the flagger..

Anyone who isn't a mod can't flag all of an artist's work at once. Considering a significant number of this artist's works ARE deleted, it seems like it's quite possible that's on its way in drips and drabs, anyway.

Saying "it's just this artist's style" is a severely unconvincing argument for poor quality. If all of an artist's works look just like something getting deleted for poor quality... doesn't that just make them a shit artist who shouldn't be uploaded in the first place?

I understand where both sides are coming from, but it seems like the whole entire gallery might as well be purged. You'll likely find this artist on gelbooru without the same restrictions recent pictures have been receiving. If the flagger was a lot more active, I guarantee you the only uploads on this site would be things tagged as "realistic", and everything else would be deleted whether they're cartoony or intentionally disproportionate (but consistent and rhythmic).

This makes a presumption that there is only one person doing all the flagging, and that all the moderators present a unified front to support the actions of flaggers, which is a poor reading of how Danbooru actually works. Anyone can flag artwork, and it's up to the moderators - who are of one mind on hardly anything - to concur with flags or refute them. There are many things being re-approved, and an abusively overzealous flagger will likely face repercussions from the moderators.

Meanwhile, looking at the deleted works by this artist on this site, all the works uploaded recently have not been approved in the first place... Which should probably be a sign to anyone who persists in uploading the same quality of image from the same artist.

I'm still a firm believer that danbooru would have been radically different now if uploads were as strict and analytical as some flaggers appear to be. There's just so many artworks here that technically fall under bad_anatomy, but it's easy to see why they go past the radar. It's impossible to keep up with an ever-growing archive of images, so it's understandable that there won't be a pack of obsessive-compulsive Art Police hounding uploads left and right 24/7. I don't feel the need to appeal this post since I don't care for the art in particular, but some flagging can be a tad unfair unless a work of art appears unfinished.

Oh, I am really active if I want to be.
But I'm waiting. Maybe there is another Janitor who approves this post. I'm not someone who is flagging everything at once.

There is also the option to flag a post. And if the person who is flagging thinks (a.k.a. me in this case) that this isn't covered anymore by bad_anatomy anymore, then one should always be allowed to flag a post. If it isn't enough to get a post deleted, i.e. only one Janitor disagrees, then it will stay. That means if a flag comes through, then the post is not covered anymore with this tag, since it doesn't belong in the active gallery of Danbooru, just like any other deleted post here^^. But it also means if the flags are not coming through, but you are still flagging multiple posts with the same reason or the same artist, then it is indeed vandalism. Not in this case, though. It is the only flag for now for this artist.
That said: It might seem arbitrary to some persons if one post they think is worso is not flagged. The main reason is probably that the flagger either didn't saw the post the comparison is going with or the flagger one one post thinks that this other post doesn't show these flaws or the flagger evaluates the flaws differently.

Well, simply because no artwork is really perfect. There will always be one nitpicker who finds something anywhere. But that shouldn't happen and that's why flaggers have to look what Janitors are approving. Janitors are deciding that a post is deleted, not the flagger (in my eyes). That said: See my comment above (which got downvoted for..disagreement(?)). Anyways, one should treat flags carefully and don't overdo it.
