I dunno much about the Touhou games, so I'm not gonna risk guessing what it means in the translation Notes. But for anyone curious:

    • よっちゃん(yo-chan) is probably short for Yorihime-chan.
    • スペカ(su-pe-ka) is probably shorthand for スペルカード(su-pe-ru-kaa-do), so thus, Spellcard.
    • 即ボム probably refers to some instant-use bomb item.
    • The Kanji in the 3rd line miiight be 姿勢, which means, roughly, one's stance/posture/attitude.

I think 即ボム means Counter-Bomb. This is what she did in SSiB, and while 即 does mean "instant", it also carries the implication of adaptation, like an immediate retort. Something off-the-cuff and fitting.

EDIT: It refers to the fact that if you hit the bomb button on the exact frame where you would have died, you use a bomb instead of dying. In the English-speaking world, we call this "Death Bombing", because the dying sound plays anyway. The Japanese call it 即ボム. "Deathbomb" doesn't fit in this context, because Yocchan is never close to dying in SSIB (an official manga), she just counters every single attack with a bomb. What she does in SSIB, therefore, is counter-bombing.

I agree with your other TNs.

I can barely recall the exact details of the series Yorihime debuted in, but when did she start being referred to by several artists as Yocchan? Or did she get called that way when she was in the manga?

Apparently, it's Remilia's nickname for her in Silent Sinner in Blue (where she debuted). Yocchan herself HATES it.

    I like Yocchan's Spellcard Counter-Bomb Posture.
