It's rare that military vehicles last beyond the wars they are a part of either through destruction or scrapping. Those that do last usually get made into museums or ceremonial vessels.

Why would an uploader tag something with source request? Shouldn't they know where they got the image from?

Or like the Prinz Eugen and the Nagato, they were sunk during the Crossroad operation. I think it's even more sad.

Could be he found it off 4chan or some other imageboard. Or someone used it in a video, but the videomaker when asked has forgotten where he himself got it from.
