Concentrated pre-made coffee "syrup" of which you add small amounts to boiling water. It's about as tasty as i make it sound but it's coffee, which is a definite step up from no coffee.
My job has one such machine. Instant's cheap, easy to store and it brews immidiately with the press of a button. In other words, ideal for the work environment where time = money and coffee = fuel.

My first ever cup did not go down easily, but (since it's entirely free) i've since learned to like it.

The coffee shown here is like the Nescafé or Taster's Choice brands. Freeze dried coffee pellets.
