So I guess it's kinda connected with the Admiral treatment.

It's possibly not so much "broken" as "misery loves company" (so if it was done to me, you're going, too!) and as for Sendai, unless there's something that wasn't uploaded... maybe? I can't imagine what she thinks an intensive belly button and armpit cleaning will do for night battles, but that's the most reasonable explanation...

Shigure and Yuudachi have learnt well, they can taste the cleaning that needs to be done on Hagikaze from the air alone.
