My mind is in a bit of a bind here: part of me is glad to see Warhammer 40k being recognized and portrayed in the japanese media, whilst the other part recognizes that armor pattern on the astartes and is immensely worried about that girl's safety.

If you don't know what I'm talking about, google "warhammer 40k emperor's children". So if a sudden "nsfw continuation" appears in this site, don't be surprised.

Let's *hope* that is a loyalist and not one of those guys.

Purple and gold aren't exclusive to the Emperor's Children. The Soul Drinkers are a loyalist (though labeled renegade) chapter that fight for humanity and have a gold/purple armor color.

Aren't the Emperors Children using Black/Purple instead of Purple/Gold post Heresy? So the girl should be fine

Yeah, that's a Soul Drinker or loyalist using reppin' the gold and purple. The armour looks like it's a Mark 7, so it can't have been made during the Heresy.

I think he is a Hawk Lord, a loyal chapter of the Ultramarine

Late to the party, but if he were Emperor's Children, he would have the Imperial Aquila on his chest, not the skull with wings.
