Hell, seeing RJ taller than anyone at all is weird.

Knowing this artist's past, I fear this Nagamon more than others.

RJ is standing a little behind the trio, guys. Compensating for the difference between their respective feet's positions, she's actually a bit shorter than Hiei.

RJ is usually drawn as destroyer height or a bit taller. Here she's at least cruiser height, and only a hair under battle cruiser (Hiei) height, if that. I'm impressed that RJ seems to reach Nagato's shoulder, as the latter is infamous for being tall.

TBM, any height comparison involving a Yoshinori-drawn shipgirl is made more complicated by the artist's trademark "rudder boots".

In their respective official art, Nagato wears rudder heel boots and Ryuujou wears hull stilts, and the former is still more than a head taller. Without her stilts, RJ is shorter than the Akatsuki sisters.

Most shipgirls are taller than RJ, with the possible exception of Etorofu.

Anyone know of that comic of RJ before she was a shipgirl, where she was some girl with stunted growth and a terminal illness and became a shipgirl to stop all that?
