I think it's possible she either doesn't fully grasp what it really means to be a NEET or that she doesn't recognize the social stigma attached to it. Like if a child was told their grandparents had hemorrhoids, and told random people "Gramp's got himroids, and gramma's got a herroids at their house!"

And it's "kiri", a sound effect for tension.

I have a feeling neeko and her sister's classmate would kinda get along.

I honestly have no idea whether Imoko is doing this on purpose or not. We've seen that she really loves Neeko, but we've also see that she likes to tease her XD

My best guess is she thinks she's helping Neeko by applying pressure to push her out of her current ways. She doesn't understand (as people frequently don't about anxiety disorders and similar problems) that Neeko already feels enough pressure, in fact, more than she can handle, and simply doesn't see a way out of the situation that she can feel, "yes, I could do that!"
