That's true, the brain and skull will heal, but many of her memories won't regenerate as they are mere electrical signals triggered by her neurons, and even if she can regenerate those neurons, the memories will not as they pertained to the ones that got destroyed, and it's actually a proven fact too. I guess if she doesn't have permanent brain damage, at least definitely severe memory lose and alzheimer.
