Misreading of Ritsuka I believe.

I don’t know enough Japanese to know whether they’re right on their choice or not, but at the very least they put a lot of thought into it.

I think it could be typo on the artist part or stylistic change to the name. 立花 can be read as Ritsuka too as given name, though certainly it's a more uncommon kanji to write Ritsuka.

So are we fine for just leaving this as Tachibana then?

I'm leaning to change it to Ritsuka since it's the officially acknoeledged name (despite the wrong kanji), but out of respect to the original translator who insist it to be Tachibana, I'll just leave it be.

Other users however may do whatever they want with the notes.

That's fair, though I'd leave a note about the kanji somewhere.
