Japanese inspired background. I spent a considerable amount of time on the background alone, more than ever before. Except for the duvet texture, which I made in Gimp, textures come from Google, mainly the famous Japanese painting "The Great Wave off Kanagawa".

I like this. I don't usually have the patience to make backgrounds, but seeing the possibilities I conclude it's worth the time investment from now on. It does take a long time to render though.
